Qi (chi) is our life-force energy
Our resistance/stubbornness/pain/resentment can cause blockages in our Qi. Often it will build up in a weak part of the body (previous injury, operation etc) and this stagnant block can often lead to disease. Energy healing aims to release these blocks, each individuals situation will require a specific energy. For example; a career issue may require reiki, while a trauma or loss may require shamanic healing.
When something hurtful or traumatic happens, we need to talk about it to process and release it. People need to be seen and heard non judgementally, not to sit alone in the shame/guilt of the past (which causes more blockages) This therapy can also help you to understand what is draining your energy; a person, job, situation, belief etc. Then you can make healthy changes.
